We are proud to announce that John McPherson, Jr. of our Winston-Salem office has been selected to participate in the 2021 NAR Leadership Academy. John’s leadership skills have been a cornerstone in his business. He created the MKT Real Estate Group in 2008 which has consistently won the accolades of a top producing team with clients returning time and time again. John’s humble and kind nature is conspicuous and being selected to be part of the Leadership Academy further attests to his character.

The program received the most applications in its history, and John was chosen to be among the 25 Realtors® who will spend 11 months learning the inner workings of the NAR and focusing on leadership development. Graduates of the academy commonly become leaders of the National Association, advancing positive change and reform at many levels.

“The program is designed to mentor and train Realtors® to become future leaders of the National Association of Realtors®. John will be a great contributor,” said Shannon Buss, Incoming Chair of the NAR Leadership Academy and President of the Rhode Island Association of Realtors®. As a graduate of the academy, Buss recalls, “The program completely changed my life. It opened different pathways that I didn’t know existed. It made me a better human.”

We are beyond excited to see John McPherson take part in this incredible opportunity.
